Points awards are automatic ways an user could retrieve an amount of a points type. Lets see an example to see how it works:
In this example we are defining a points award for users who log in 10 times to earn 100 credits (credits is a points type) limited to 1 maximum times of earn it. As we have limited it to 1 per day, user will need to log in at least 1 time during 10 days (not consecutively).
Every time an user completes an points award, it will appear in the GamiPress logs using the “Points Earned” log pattern.
Points deducts are automatic ways an user could lose an amount of a points type. Configuring points deducts is exactly in the same way as for points awards.
In this example we are defining a points deduct for users who delete a post to lost 10 credits without any limitation, so every time an user deletes a post, this points deduct will take effect.
Every time an user lost his points through a points deduct, it will appear in the GamiPress logs using the “Points Deducted” log pattern.
