Getting Started

Restrict Content gives you the ability to configure several restrictions to any post or page until user completes all the requirements specified.

In addition, this add-on let’s you to restrict a portion of content anywhere, including in-line on any page or post, using a simple shortcode or on any sidebar through a configurable widget.

Restricting a post

On every post type registered with public access (for example WordPress post and pages or WooCommerce products) you will see a new meta box where you can enable the restrictions to apply and the content replacements to set.

You can follow this guide to configure the restriction requirements.

Next, you should check this guide to configure the access or content restrictions to apply to the users that do not meet the requirements.

Finally, you can grant access to users or roles you want manually to let them access to a restricted content without meet the requirements.

Also, you can announce the restrictions or render the get access button of a specific post anywhere, including in-line on any page or post, using the [gamipress_post_restrictions] shortcode or on any sidebar through the GamiPress: Post Restrictions widget.

Restricting a portion of content

You can restrict a portion of content anywhere using a the [gamipress_restrict_content] shortcode.

Also, you can restrict a portion of content on any sidebar through the GamiPress: Restrict Content widget.

Listing posts restricted and unlocked

Through the [gamipress_posts_restricted] shortcode and the GamiPress: Posts Restricted widget you can lists all posts restricted on your website through the Restrict Content add-on.

In addition, you can add a dynamic list to keep users informed about all posts they got access through [gamipress_posts_unlocked] shortcode and the GamiPress: Posts Unlocked widget.
