Getting Started

Nominations lets you bring to your users the ability to nominate any other user to unlock achievements and rank through a form.

First of all, you need to configure nominations on the achievements or ranks of your choice to allow your users nominate others through a nominations form.

Note: From the add-on settings you can change the display of the users autocomplete as well as to restrict it by role.

After configure an achievement or rank to accept nominations, you have 2 ways to display the nomination form:

1) On blocks (shortcodes and widgets) where an achievement or rank can be displayed you will get the option “Show Nominations” to display it.
For shortcodes, there will be the “nominations” attribute that accepts the “yes” or “no” values.
Example: [gamipress_achievement id="123" nominations="yes"]

2) You can place a nomination form anywhere, including in-line on any page or post, using the [gamipress_nomination] shortcode or block.
Also, you can place a nomination form on any sidebar through widgets provided by this add-on.

To manage all nominations you can check this guide to meet where all nominations are registered and how to approve, reject or revoke them.
